Inspired by some photographs of The Glenlivet Distillery 

The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Speyside region. It has no age statement and is distinguished by its sweet, fruity, and smooth profile, where the classic heather honey flavor intertwines harmoniously with notes of vanilla, sweet orange, and fresh pears.

My painting shows the intimate presence of the heather flower, from where the heather honey comes from, such a typical note in this whisky. To both sides of the bottle, the hands of a woman and a man making a toast for this great product.

It is the expression chosen by the distillery to pay homage to its founder, George Smith, replicating the freedom to select whiskies from various traditional American oak casks to achieve a smooth and creamy finish.

Inspired by a photography and designs of Glengoyne Distillery

This canvas tries to transmit some of the most important values of Glengoyne Distillery wich makes a trully extraordinary whisky. Incorporating phrases and images that characterize and convey the brand's identity and its commitment to quality, this painting it's as unique as this amazing expression of 25 years old.

Besides the presence of the bottle and the glasses of whisky in a realistic style, the composition of the painting shows the clock that identifies the brand, with two phrases that express the traditional patience in the process of production: "Sometimes, the right ay es the long way" and "Unhurried since 1833".

The barley is floating, meaning that is only dried by air, the stills that are the slowest in Scotland, the arrow pointing the number six in the clock -the only one in black color- that means the casks that take six years to prepare, the goose of course, the coat of arms with the sandglass -time again- and the classic pagoda.

Fully matured in European casks Oloroso sherry, bottled at 48% ABV, with lots of first fill casks, this 25 year old sherry oak whisky has a complex and rich character with a strong presence of syrup flavor, a very classic Glengoyne and the result of many people working tireless for excellence.

Bottled in 2022 at 48.1% Abv, this limited edition offers a Unique spectrum of aromas and flavors, so distinctive as the iconic Kelpies of Falkirk.

A Lowlands Single Malt Scotch Whisky that rises from the ashes to built a new history in the tradition of whisky making.

I decided to make my own creative vission of this amazing expression that came from my deep admiration to the titanic work of Ian MacLeod Distillers to bring it back to life.

When I first saw the @thedramagram photo that inspired my painting, I felt an overwhelming peace.

As if time had stopped, turning a furtive ray of sunshine into liquid gold and trapping it in a Glencairn glass, in some solitary place.

Several years have passed since then, but the image that has now become this painting remains etched in my memory.

Thank you @thedramagram for touching my heart with this beautiful moment of magic. Now it carries a small portion of my soul on the canvas as well.
