Fileteando el 2×4

Filleting the 2x4

What an incredible experience!
On Saturday, August 22nd, I participated in the art exhibition «Filletting thel 2×4 – A tribute to tango through the porteño style of fileteado».

Alongside other incredible artists of this authentic Buenos Aires art —all of them members of the «Almacén del Filete» school and under the guidance of the teacher Claudia Medori—, I had the pleasure of presenting several works inspired by tango and Argentine traditions.

I presented my painting «Portrait of Astor Piazzolla» —which includes numerous references to his music and his life—, three fileteado shoe lasts (man, woman and child) and a small guitar painted entirely with the fileteado technique.

In addition, I displayed a street scene in homage to the 90th anniversary of the Obelisk of Buenos Aires, with an original creation to decorate each of the faces of the monument, the iconic letters "BA", a lamppost, a typical advertising sign and a van; all of it decorated and made by me.

It was a lovely opening evening, surrounded by family, friends, and many people who came to the Casa del Tango to share the art and dance some tangos, in which I also participated!

Thank you for sharing this passion with me!

Presentación y firma de ejemplares de mi libro «Descubriendo el Mundo del Whisky» en la Feria Internacional del Libro de Buenos Aires 2026

Presentation and signing of copies of my book "Discovering the World of Whisky" at the Buenos Aires International Book Fair 2026

On Saturday, May 9, 2026, I had my first experience signing copies of my book “Discovering the World of Whisky” at the 50th Buenos Aires Book Fair.

In the Blue Pavilion, Stand 105 of the Editorial Autores de Argentina, I was very happy to welcome everyone who came to share this moment and buy my book.

Without a doubt, I am happier than the photos can capture; an experience that thrilled me and that I will always keep in my memory as an unforgettable moment.

Primera presentación de mi libro «Descubriendo el mundo del whisky»

First presentation of my book "Discovering the world of whisky"

On Thursday, April 23, 2026, I gave the first presentation of my book “Discovering the World of Whisky – A Different Guide to Knowing the Secrets of the Water of Life” at the Whisky Club La Plata.

It was an unforgettable night, where people were able to get a little closer to my art, in a mini exhibition of some of my paintings that are part of the book and of sheets specially designed by Adrián Conti, from Web 4 Diseño, who was also responsible for the overall design of the book.

The generosity and expertise of Roberto Rubini, who runs this wonderful space, made it possible for us to share, along with many whisky connoisseurs and lovers, a pleasant, relaxed and very enjoyable chat about the various topics covered in my book.

Thank you to everyone who came, and I hope to see you all again very soon.

Last presential and virtual group art exhibition at the 'Gusta tu Gusto' gallery, organized by Darío Zilberstein.

I presented my work, Cathedrals I, one of my few oil paintings, which reinterprets Chartres Cathedral and Rodin's sculpture "The Cathedral" in a play of transparencies where monumental architecture and the human dimension blend poetically to create a mystical symbiosis that transcends the religious

In virtual format, I exhibited my painting "Epic Spirit," a tribute to the Scottish spirit, featuring the central figure of its national animal, the unicorn, galloping in foreshortening that seems to leap off the canvas, against a blue background representing the colors of the Scottish flag. The flashes of red symbolize passion, while the gold expanding from the image represents whisky, the drink that best embodies its spirit.

Talk to me about the sea

Talk to me about the sea…
That was the challenge, and they certainly rose to the occasion…
They arranged brushes and jars of paint. They selected colored papers, glass, and Venetian glass tiles. They baked them.
They adjusted lenses and filters. They edited. They sharpened a pencil, picked up a piece of chalk. They stained with water, combined textures. They cut out fabrics and sewed.
They recreated sounds, searching for their sound. They experimented with shapes, searching for their form. They simulated glimmers, searching for its brilliance.
Its presence is always striking.
So beautiful and so vast that it invites us to recreate it a thousand times.
Let's enjoy the dialogue of each artist.
Let's listen to the sea and see what it tells us in this encounter.

What wonderful moments we shared at the exhibition "Talk to me about the sea"!

Organized by artists Laura Poceiro and Bibi Rojas of Fusión Art Gallery, it took place at the Armenian Cultural Center.

Thank you to all the artists for bringing a little bit of the sea to the city of Buenos Aires, for the good vibes and excellence that made this exhibition so special.

The exhibition will close next Saturday, November 8th, starting at 9:30 pm at Armenia 1366, CABA, as part of Museum Night. See you there!
