Los orígenes de Laphroaig no están claros, se pierden en el tiempo. Una destilería rodeada de mitos y folklore escocés. Laphroaig (que en Gaélico significa “El bello hueco en la amplia bahía”), es destilado con aguas del río Kilbride Dam, con un proceso que produce este característico elixir turboso, coloreado y exuberante.
