From the Black Isle barley to the open air charged water flowing down the Edderton Hills capturing the natural local flavor, this shapes the exceptionally light yet complex spirit created in their original Blablair stubby neck stills.
The single malt is the product of the patience and dedication of its craftsmen, who will settle for nothing but the best for Balblair.
From the exceptionally long fermentation of 62 hours and the 4 1/2 hour distillation extremely slow, it is this measured and thoughtful approach that means they are able to take advantage of the time to create the flavor of their unique spirit.
