The Six Pillars are the cornerstones of The Macallan's character and the creation of its rich spirit.
They encompass the strong sense of place at the heart of The Macallan Distillery.
2. THE CURIOUSLY SMALL STILLS
Sus alambiques curiosamente pequeños, entre los más pequeños de Speyside, con su forma y medidas únicas le dan al espíritu un máximo contacto con el cobre.
De esta manera le provee a su «new make» los sabores ricos, frutales y de gran cuerpo, característicos de The Macallan.
En total son 24 alambiques, artesanalmente hechos en cobre, con una carga inicial de 3900 litros cada uno.
