Highland Park Distillery is located in Kirkwall, it began distilling in 1798, in the same place that its founder, Magnus Eunson, established his original illegal still in High Park.
It is almost on the Arctic Circle, closer to Oslo than to London, where the North Sea rises to reach the Atlantic Ocean.
